Everton F.C.
were formed here in 1878, as St. Domingo’s.
The Sandon was the former headquarters and
changing rooms for Everton before moving
to Goodison Park in 1892. This was due to
John Houlding, Landlord and Club President
putting up the rent. Houlding then formed
Liverpool F.C. from these premises.

The
Sandon, now one of Liverpool’s Premier
Function Suites has been established since
1st May 1997. |
